2003 CONFERENCE INFO
The 2003 Western
Robbery Conference was held May 28th to 30th, 2003, also at the Great Divide Lodge
in Breckenridge, Colorado.
The
registration fee of $140.00 included tuition, conference materials, a CARI
Directory (provided by Loomis, Fargo & Co.) and a certificate of completion. Door prizes,
donated by many retail businesses, were given away during breaks. Two handguns
(provided by Bantek West and CARI) were given away
on the last day of the conference.
CARI provided a continental breakfast
daily (courtesy of King Soopers and Safeway), lunch on Wednesday and Thursday
(provided by CARI), and a
dinner at the awards banquet on Wednesday evening (also provided by CARI).
A hospitality suite (sponsored
by Budweiser, 7-11 and 3CI Security Systems), open to attendees Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday evenings, provided not only a place to relax after the days activities, but an
opportunity to network with robbery investigators and loss prevention personnel
from around the country.
Over 140 law enforcement officers and private security personnel from Arizona,
