2008 CONFERENCE INFO
The 2008 conference will be held May 27 - May 30, 2008, at the Historic
Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
The
registration fee of $150.00 includes tuition, conference materials, a CARI
Directory (provided by Loomis, Fargo & Co.) and a certificate of completion. Door prizes,
donated by many retail businesses, will be given away during breaks. A handgun will be given away
on the last day of the conference.
CARI will provide a continental breakfast
daily (courtesy of King Soopers and Safeway), lunch on Wednesday and Thursday
(provided by CARI), and a
dinner at the awards banquet on Wednesday evening (also provided by CARI).
A hospitality suite (sponsored
by Coors and 3SI Security Systems), open to attendees Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday evenings, will provide not only a place to relax after the days activities, but an
opportunity to network with robbery investigators and loss prevention personnel
from around the country.

The
Western Robbery Conference is open to all active and retired law enforcement
personnel as well as qualified private security representatives (generally
retail and bank loss prevention managers). The Conference
consists of two and one half days of dynamic classroom instruction provided by
experienced law enforcement personnel. Social functions are included to
encourage class member interaction and development of professional contacts.
